ABOUT US: 12th Street Glass is a family owned and operated company. We have been creating this style of painted glass art for two decades, but have only recently decided to share our passion with the public.
ABOUT OUR ART: Please do not confuse our art with stained glass! Stained glass in an ancient and venerable art form, involving the use of individual pieces of glass assembled to make pictures, usually held together by some kind of solder. 12th Street Glass art is painted glass - a newer art form, using various transparent and opaque paints applied directly to the surface of the glass. Our creations are also covered by a patented plastic coating that makes them scratch, fade, and weather resistant.
EACH PIECE SHOWN ON THIS SITE is ONE OF A KIND! In other words, we do not have a warehouse full of Jesus's and Green Men at our disposal. :) But if you are interested in a piece that is marked SOLD or NOT FOR SALE, please do not hesitate to email about it anyway. Anything you see can be recreated in about two weeks time especially for you - colors and dimensions can be adapted to your specifications.
